A search that became a brand
It started with a dinner party. I wanted a tablecloth; something simple, natural, elegant. Something that's easy to combine with my dinnerware. What I found in Singapore's shops was either too cheap, too synthetic or too heavy patterned. The good stuff existed elsewhere in the world, but not here, not easily, and not at a fair price.
I’m Dutch, and back home a well-dressed table is simply part of hosting. Setting the table beautifully when guests come over, creating a warm and thoughtful atmosphere, and making people feel welcome. So in 2022, I founded Covered.

Every piece in the Covered collection is handmade. We don't do mass production. We do careful production; cut by hand, sewn with attention, finished with the kind of detail that you notice when you unfold a tablecloth for the first time.
Our linen is sourced from trusted suppliers in Europe and certified to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. Free from harmful substances and safe for your family and the planet. We chose linen deliberately, because it only gets better with time.
